Unlike traditional leather and some vegan leather materials, most of which rely heavily on plastic-based compositions, coatings or finishes, we can proudly say that our alternative leather is crafted #PlasticFree. By utilizing responsibly sourced FSC® paper and BCI cotton, we have developed a revolutionary material that offers the look, feel, and durability of genuine leather without exacerbating the global plastic pollution crisis.
This means we have unrivalled biodegradability than similar materials on the market. We are proud to be ISO14855-1 certified– our material reaches over 90% biodegradation in landfill conditions in just 90 days.
GREENER MANUFACTURING PRACTICES
We achieve this by eliminating the use of harmful chemicals, and disregarding the need of a traditional leather tanning process. Also, by offering our material at a low minimum order quantity (MOQ), we are able to minimize waste, water consumption, and harmful emissions throughout the entire supply chain.
