OUR UPCYCLING INITIATIVE
Collaborating with the Hong Kong Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA)
What is upcycling?
Upcycling is a sustainable practice that involves transforming discarded or unwanted materials into new products of higher value or quality. Unlike traditional recycling, which typically involves breaking down materials to its basic components to create new products, upcycling maintains and enhances the inherent qualities of the original materials.
MM EMBRACES UPCYCLING...
As a means to breathe new life into existing materials, promoting sustainability for good.
In our continuous pursuit of sustainable innovation, we have partnered with the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) to upcycle end-of-life bed sheets from hotel groups, to be directly used as the foundation layer of our MM material, reducing our overall scope 2 emissions.
Driving a more sustainable world.
Through this collaboration, we actively engage in research and development projects that explore advanced techniques within upcycling initiatives. Our joint efforts aim to revolutionize the industry by setting an example in repurposing materials, reducing waste, and creating a circular economy within the supply chain.
Together, with our customers and partners, we are driving the industry towards a more sustainable world.
Join us in embracing sustainable alternatives and let's make a lasting positive impact on the environment.
